Peroni launches Blue Ribbon campaign
Peroni Nastro Azzurro, a jewel in leading brewer SABMiller’s international premium brand portfolio has announced the global launch of its new integrated campaign.
This beautiful new execution, entitled Blue Ribbon (the English translation of “Nastro Azzurro”), follows on from a series of much talked about campaigns including La Dolce Vita.
Peroni Nastro Azzurro is currently one of the fastest growing beer brands in the world and the fastest growing premium beer in the UK.
The campaign has already begun with cinema goers experiencing the new execution over the weekend. The campaign also includes print and outdoor billboards.
Filmed in Cape Town, the 30 second spot features Italian icons of design and style such as the dramatic Arco floor lamp originally designed by the Castiglioni brothers in 1962, the hand pasta machine by Marcato, an Alfa Romeo Spider and an original Piaggio Vespa, the scooter made famous by films such as Fellini’s La Dolce Vita and William Wylers’ Roman Holiday in the 1960s. In the ad, all icons interact with the Blue Ribbon, gracefully travelling through and around them to the uplifting background music of Ebben? Ne andrò lontana - the famous aria from the opera La Wally by Alfredo Catalani - bringing them to life.
